What the service is

A web service that takes what your unit reports over your own phone and turns it into a live map, a roster, a timeline and a report after the game. A unit is a display that mounts on a replica and reads what that replica's own electronics already broadcast. It does not modify your replica and it does not change what your replica does.

The subscription

• Every player pays the same subscription, squad owners included. It renews until you cancel it.
• A code from a unit's box gives free months. Starting a subscription while those months run charges nothing until they end.
• Cancel any time from Subscription, and you keep what you have paid for until it runs out.
• If a renewal fails, everything keeps working for a few days while it is retried.
• Watch links stay free, and a unit keeps working on the gun without a subscription. What a subscription opens is the map and the report.

Cancelling early

As a consumer buying at a distance in the EU you have fourteen days to change your mind.

• Hardware: fourteen days from the day it arrives, returned in a condition that lets it be resold. The legal guarantee of conformity is two years.
• The subscription: fourteen days, unless you asked for it to start straight away and it has been fully provided in the meantime - in which case you may owe the part you used. If you want the service to wait out the fourteen days, say so and it will.

Using it sensibly

• Do not put anybody on the map who has not agreed to be there.
• Some sites forbid live position sharing between players during a game. The site's rules decide, not this service. Ask before you use it at one.
• Do not use it to harass, to follow somebody who is not playing, or for anything outside a game people have agreed to.
• Do not attack the service, other people's squads, or the ingest port.
• A watch link shows a live map to anyone holding it. Giving one out is your decision and your responsibility.

What is not promised

This is a small service and it will sometimes be down. Positions come from consumer GPS under tree cover and are often ten metres out or worse; nothing here is accurate enough to rely on for safety, and it is not a safety device. Your phone's coverage decides whether your unit reaches the map at all.

Liability

Nothing here limits the rights you have as a consumer under Portuguese and EU law, or liability for death, personal injury or anything caused deliberately. Beyond that, liability is limited to what you paid in the twelve months before the problem.

Ending it

Delete your account whenever you like, from Account. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms, and will say why.

LUSCO is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any replica or electronics manufacturer. Products are named only to say what LUSCO works with.

Law
